On April 17, a regular working meeting of the participants of the international project for the development of youth tourism “Pearl Necklace of Holy Russia” took place in the Diocesan Administration of the Smolensk Diocese.

The meeting summed up the trip to Polotsk, in which photo and video materials were collected to prepare the tourist case of the city. The participants of the trip shared their impressions about the route and favorite sights of Polotsk, reviewed the collected materials.

The next city to visit in the framework of the project will be the Belarusian city of Mogilyov. The trip is scheduled for May 14, 2019. Students of the Branch of the National Research University “MEI” in Smolensk became responsible for creating the route and tourist case.

Also, the project participants discussed ideas for continuing the project and preparing an application for participation in the next Presidential Grants Competition.

At the end of the meeting, a discussion was held on the preparation of an interview about the implementation of the project for Radio Spring.
